Every Frame Tells a Story

Based in Turku, Finland, I craft cinematic imagery that goes beyond documentation — each photograph is a deliberate composition, a moment held in time. Most of my work is people. A portrait. A family that has just grown by one. A ceremony that will be described at every gathering for the next twenty years.

Before you write.

How far do you travel?

Most shoots happen in Turku and along the southwest coast. Further afield is worth asking about — it depends on the shoot and the season.

When do I see the photographs?

A first set of previews to choose from, then the finished edit of the ones you pick.

Does anyone else see them first?

No. Every shoot gets a private, password-protected gallery. You choose what gets delivered, and nothing goes public unless you say so.

How many photographs do I get?

You will know the number before we start, because it is written into the booking. Every one you get is fully edited — I would rather hand over thirty I stand behind than three hundred you have to sort through.

What if the weather turns?

For outdoor shoots we pick a second date at the time of booking, so bad light on the day is not the end of it.
